Carbon Detox - A Book Review

Carbon Detox by George Marshall is a great little book for anyone who wants to start reducing their carbon footprint. It may have been written in 2007 but the techniques he describes are just as useful now as ever before.

People often find it hard to grasp the concept of global warming or think that it is out of their hands. This book firstly deals with different personality types, which are surprisingly spot on.  It then covers how they can overcome climate change denial and describes a variety of ways that each personality can drop a tonne off their carbon footprint.

This is the book you are looking for.

It’s a fresh, easy read and really makes you want to get out there and reduce your emissions. I myself have followed through and dropped a fair amount off of my own!  The knowledge gained exceeds the price by far - you can buy the book for a few pounds on Amazon.

George Marshall has spent 20 years working in the environmental sector, from being a government consultant to a senior campaigner for Greenpeace. Take a look at his site to find out more about him.
